Hallym would like to inform you about the occurrence of a confirmed case among students enrolled in our dormitory on September 7 (Tuesday).

On the morning of the 7th (Tuesday), under the direction of the health authorities, quarantine was completed by identifying the movement of the person.

Students who had recently participated in face to face classes with the person and residents on the same floor in the dormitory in question were individually contacted by the Chuncheon Public Health Center, upon which COVID tests were administered.

▣ A total of 88 test subjects were tested for COVID, and as of 9:45 am on the 8th (Wednesday), 86 people except for 2 testers from other areas were tested negative. Inspection results in other areas will be updated as soon as they come out.

*The remaining two COVID tests returned negative*

▣ Through an epidemiological investigation, Hallym completed the identification of the confirmed patient's intra-school movement and contacts, and completed quarantine.

▣ The four people who reported self-quarantine on campus are maintaining self-quarantine at home after confirming that they have tested negative.

▣ When a confirmed case occurs on campus, an epidemiological investigation of the movement is conducted under the direction of the health authorities, and the test subjects are individually informed by the health authorities.

If you do not receive individual contact when a confirmed case occurs, you should assume that your individual movements around campus have not intersected the COVID positive person.

▣ Students who have symptoms or are suspected of being in contact with COVID should refrain from moving and contact the school health center (033-248-2890~1, 010-6433-6273).

▣ Wearing a mask is the best way to prevent COVID.

We ask that all members of the school pay attention to safety rules such as wearing a mask and maintaining social distancing while on campus and limiting non essential travel.

▣ Anyone can become a victim of infection. Please support the confirmed person so that they can recover as they are the same Hallymer, once again please wear a face mask!
