In the late afternoon of Thursday 9th December, a confirmed COVID case was reported within Hallym student community.

On the evening of Thursday 9th December, under the direction of the health authorities, the movement of the student was identified and quarantine protocols completed.

The movement of the confirmed person and all close contacts with overlapping movements were confirmed through CCTV and epidemiological investigations.

As of 19:00 Friday 10th December, 44 out of a total of 48 people have tested negative, and the results of 4 people are expected to come out Saturday morning.

We will update you as soon as the results come out:

*Update: As of 10:30 on the 11th (Sat), all 4 people tested negative. The situation ended with a negative judgment for all 48 people.*

▣ When a confirmed case occurs on campus, an epidemiological investigation of the movement is conducted under the direction of the health authorities, and the test subjects are individually informed by the health authorities.

If you do not receive individual contact when a confirmed case occurs, you should assume that your individual movements around campus have not intersected the COVID positive person.

▣ Students who have symptoms or are suspected of being in contact with COVID should refrain from moving and contact the school health center (033-248-2890~1, 010-6433-6273).

▣ Wearing a mask is the best way to prevent COVID.

We ask that all members of the school pay attention to safety rules such as wearing a mask and maintaining social distancing while on campus and limiting non-essential travel.

▣ Anyone can become a victim of infection. Please support the confirmed person so that they can recover as they are the same Hallymer, once again please wear a face mask!
