Recently, the importance of education on gender equality and violence prevention has been increasing. Accordingly, Hallym University provides online education to all school members for gender equality and violence prevention. 

Human rights violations and violence are occurring not only in schools but also anywhere in society. Through this education, we want to raise the awareness of human rights of all school members and create a safe campus.

※ According to the law, all students must take the Violence prevention education one or more times every year.

How to take the online education?

1. log in to SmartLEAD

2. go to “2022 Violence Prevention Education for International Students” (Eng) or (Chn) Course 

※ If you can’t see the course after log in, Please contact Human Right Center (hrcc@hallym.ac.kr) with your name, student id and education language(English or Chinese).

3. Please watch all education videos and take all formative evaluations.

※ Click on the title of each content to take the training.

4. Please take a satisfaction survey (Violence Prevention Education)

※ When each content is finished, a check mark is displayed in the check box on the right.

The course is completed only when all the videos, formative evaluations and satisfaction survey are completed.

※ Your completion of this program is important as it helps our university remain a Quality Assurance university according (to the International Education Quality Assurance System) organized by the Ministry of Education.

If the educational completion rate (a certain percentage) of Hallym community not completing such training our university cannot be a ‘Quality Assurance university’ during subsequent governmental inspections which could result in an increase in required documents and procedures for future exchange and other international students coming to Hallym.
