Fall 2022 Semester Course Drop Period

The schedule for withdrawing classes and taking alternative courses for the second semester of 2022 will be announced as follows.


1. Withdrawal and alternative course application period:  2022. 9. 14. (Wed) 10:00 ~ 16. (Fri) 17:00
 
2. Application target: Students taking classes in the second semester of 2022
 
3. How to apply (Can only apply on the web, not mobile)
 Access the course registration page at the address below → Apply directly from 『Course Registration (Withdrawal)』 and 『Course Registration (Replacement Retake)』
 Course enrollment page address: https://haksa.hallym.ac .kr/hluv/


3. 신청 방법 (철회 및 대체재이수는웹에서만 신청 가능, 모바일 신청 불가)
 하단 주소로 수강신청 페이지 접속 → 『수강신청(철회)』 및 『수강신청(대체재이수)』에서 직접 신청
 수강신청 페이지 주소: https://haksa.hallym.ac.kr/hluv/


Up to 2 courses can be withdrawn per semester.  


- Courses withdrawn during the withdrawal period cannot be retaken in that semester or replaced with other courses.
- Withdrawal is not allowed if any of the following applies 

- In case of requesting for withdrawal for more than 2 courses per semester 

- In case the number of students enrolled in the relevant course falls below the standard for cancellation due to the application for withdrawal (see below for the criteria for cancellation)
 (ex . In the case of a major with 10 students including the student, it cannot be withdrawn because the number of students is 9 when applying for withdrawal) points below)


■ If withdrawal is required outside the specified period


For unavoidable reasons, the course can be withdrawn with the approval of the professor in charge of the subject and the dean of the student's college/school, attaching specific supporting documents No more than 4.00 credits can be taken in the next semester, even if it is over 4.00 , it will be excluded from the list of honors students. 


Major: Less than 10 students B. Liberal Arts: Less than 20 students (however, less than 30 students in the humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, convergence and complex studies, and culture/arts in general liberal arts) 


■ Credits for course registration (Article 35 of school regulations) a. Undergraduate (department) students with 130 credits for graduation: At least 12 credits 


B. Undergraduate (department) students with graduation credits of 135-140 credits: Minimum of 15 credits B. Undergraduate (department) students with a graduation credit of 150 credits: Minimum of 15 credits 


※ In the first semester of the 4th year, students must register for at least 12 credits. ※ There is no lower limit for course registration in the final semester, but students must register for at least one course. 


6. Other Notes - Students who have not registered for any course after registration are subject to expulsion according to school regulations

Therefore, please be sure to complete the course application.


 - Cancellation of courses and alternative courses cannot be applied for on mobile.
 - You can freely apply/cancel within the specified period, but additional applications/cancellations cannot be made after the period, so please check your application details again.


 (You can check the application for alternative retake on the right side of the student information system 『Academic Administration』 → 『Registration』 → 『Registration Inquiry』 → “Course History”)
 
 7. Inquiries: Through the “Hallym Q&A Inquiry” bulletin board at the bottom right of the notice inquiry

- 정해진 기간 내에는 자유롭게 신청/취소가 가능하지만, 기간 이후 추가신청/취소는 불가능하므로 반드시 신청내역을 재확인하여 주시기 바랍니다.
 (대체재이수 신청내용은 학생정보시스템 『학사행정』 → 『학적』 → 『학적조회』 → “수강내역” 우측에서 확인 가능)
