Hallym International Student Chuseok Holiday Event

□ In anticipation of the upcoming Chuseok Holiday (Korean Thanksgiving), Hallym Global Exchange Center held a ‘Rice Cake’ sharing event on the 28^th.

□ The faculty and staff of Hallym Global Exchange Center, including Vice-President Donggyu Ahn encouraged international students to attend the event to mark the upcoming holiday period and to come together as a community.  

□ During the event, traditional Korean rice cakes were shared, as well as beverages and facemasks. 

□ Li Jiaoe, an undergraduate student in the Global Faculty of Culture and Industry, who participated in the event, said, ‘I am grateful to Hallym University for organizing this rice cake sharing event in celebration of Chuseok. It was a good time to feel the warmth of the Hallym community, as we anticipate the upcoming Chuseok Holiday period.’
