□ Hallym University was ranked 19th in Korea in the 'QS World University Rankings 2022' conducted by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), a British university evaluation institution.

 □ In this year’s QS World University Rankings, 39 universities in Korea including Hallym University, Seoul National University, KAIST, Korea University, Yonsei University, POSTECH, Sungkyunkwan University, and Hanyang University were ranked. 1,300 universities around the world participated in this evaluation, and MIT of the United States was ranked first.

 □ Hallym University's ranking has risen steadily over the past five years, ranking 19th in Korea and 561-570 in the world this year.

 □ The QS World University Rankings include the academic reputation of each institution, which is judged by 130,000 global scholars (40%) and employer reputation (10%) which is evaluated by 75,000 global business HR managers, faculty/student ratio (20%), and number of citations per faculty (20%) and the degree of internationalization (international faculty 5% and international student ratio 5%). These six simple, yet robust metrics proves that Hallym University maintains a high stable global reputation.

 □ Hallym University has established both a medium and long term plan for its development, with its ‘Vision and Action 2016-2022 Policy’ which was enacted by Hallym President Choongsoo Kim, leading to Hallym’s recently announced ‘Hallym Vision 2030 University Development Plan’, focusing on Student Centered Education, and convergence education specialists who are adaptable and skilled in the fields required for the 4th Industrial Revolution.

This is reflected in Hallym’s establishment of the Artificial Intelligence Convergence Department this year.
