Humanities Contents Convergence

Dept. of Humanities Contents Convergence

Establishing a criterion for education through passion and conviction

About the department

The Major in Humanities Contents Convergence is a multi-major program run by more than 30 professors from seven departments of the College of Humanities in the wake of the fourth industrial revolution. As the world becomes a technology-based and practical-based society, communication skills between cultures and knowledge systems are important, and the power and value of humanities reasons are bound to shine more brightly. To this end, this major operates three sub-tracks. "Open Korean Studies, Rooted Regional Studies, and Global Citizenship." Specially, we approach Korean studies from the perspective of others in line with the global era. We also want to look at the historical issues and political and economic interests of the countries surrounding the Korean Peninsula (the United States, China, Japan and Russia). The result is that you develop the ability to think and act as a citizen of the world citizens.
