Visa extension

Exchange students cannot extend the duration of stay, in principle. Therefore, please choose carefully the duration when you apply. (Anyway, questions regarding the exchange visa extension should first go to the home university coordinator.)

ALL (Degree / Language program) students must extend their visa before its expiry date on your Alien Registration Card.

Visa change to have a part-time work

It is illegal for foreign students to have a part-time work in Korea unless they are eligible and eventually get a special visa .

Alteration of residence

Whenever the residence in Korea changes, the foreign student MUST inform it to the immigration office.
