Information on the occurrence of COVID confirmed case at Hallym

A confirmed case has occurred today (December 14th).

In the morning of the 14th, the diagnosis was confirmed and the epidemiological investigation of the public health center is currently underway. If there is any close contact with the affected person, the public health center will be in contact.

Currently, the 1st floor of the Student Dormitory 1 and the CLC route have been identified. Moreover, the person involved has been individually informed of self-quarantine procedures and cleaning of affected areas is underway.

We will update the movement of the confirmed person after the result of epidemiological investigations by the health authorities.

▣ CLC and Student Dormitory 1, 1st floor are scheduled to be disinfected between 14:00 to 18:00 today.

*After the results of the epidemiological investigation by health authorities, we will contact (any potentially further affected people) and perform additional disinfection work if necessary.

▣ Students who are suspicious of contact due to on campus activities should refrain from moving around campus and wait for measures from the health authorities.

▣ All members of the school should minimize external activities, and be sure to pay attention to safety rules such as wearing a mask and keeping social distances on campus.
