Graduate School: Announcement of successful applicants for Spring 2021 admission

(successful applicants have also been personally emailed, using the email given in their application)

1.Scholarship Application Deadline 

-8th of December ~ 14th of December (by 12:00 (Korean Time))

-Please submit the attached document to each department by e-mail(scanned PDF)

*Please email your advising professor, or your department to find out how much (scholarship/research) fund will be made available before emailing this form> (Anything below $18,000 will need to be supplemented with your own personal funds, in your own named bank account). If this bank statement is not in your own name, you must provide an original birth certificate, or certificate of family relationship proving the parental or family relationship to you. This document must be in English. (If not it must be translated + notarized by your nearest Korean Embassy or Consulate).*

For example, if you receive 1,000 USD monthly for scholarship this would be equal to 12,000 USD yearly -> 6,000 USD needed for bank statement.

*If you are undertaking paid employment at a different institution simultaneously, this may invalidate any scholarships/financial aide awarded to you by Hallym.

2. Tuition Payment for successful applicants

-11th of January, 2021 ~ 13th of January, 2021

-Exact amount of the tuition will be sent by email.

-All specified amount must be in the named Hallym University bank account by 16:00 Korean time (13th January).

3. Course Registration 

-22th of Feburary, 2021 ~ 5th of March, 2021

-Please contact your department & advising professor for details

4. Course starting date

-2nd of March, 2021

5.Self-Isolation will be mandatory (students coming from abroad)

-Official dorm(isolation) starting date 13th of Feburary ~ 14th of Feburary

☞ You must arrive in Korea on either 13th or 14th Feburary and travel directly to Hallym University. Please do not arrive in the country before these dates. 

-Self-isolation costs (accommodation and food) will be charged individually

-Approximately, the daily cost of 'self-isolation' on campus will be 30,000 won per day.
