Hallym University Technology Holding Company Ltd. Inauguration Ceremony

□ The Hallym University Technology Holding Company Ltd inauguration ceremony was held on Wednesday 9th December, 2020.


□ Hallym University President Choongsoo Kim was joined by the CEO of the company Dong-Wook Kim, former managing director of Samsung Electronics and also a healthcare expert. 


□ The opening ceremony which was held in 'Doheon Bio Solution' located in Anyang-si, Gyeonggi-do, was attended by 27 people including Dr. Dai-Won Yoon, Chairman of Ilsong Educational Foundation, CEO Dong-Wook Kim, Anyang City Mayor Dae Ho Choi, and President of Hallym University.
 
□ Hallym University Technology Holdings Co., Ltd. was established to produce new technology-oriented global high-tech companies by applying Hallym University's research capabilities in the convergence field and Hallym University Medical Center's healthcare technology.
 
□ Hallym University Technology Holdings Co., Ltd., with a vision to become a new foundation for future national growth by doubling the research capabilities of Hallym University and the medical center, will practice the spirit of the late Dr. Ilsong Duck-Sun Yoon, founder of Hallym University and Sungsim Hospital.
 
□ Until now, Hallym University has strived for the creation of convergence academics and industries by changing the university system itself to focus on technology convergence and new technologies in line with the new era of convergence. Based on this, in cooperation with Hallym University Medical Center, various technologies such as medical big data, personalized healthcare, medical imaging, biomaterials and 3D printing were commercialized. 

In addition, it has pursued interdisciplinary convergence in various fields and established School of Big Data Science, School of Nano Convergence Technology, School of Future Convergence, and School of Software.
 
Through technology and patents in the fields of bio and healthcare owned by Hallym University, Hallym University Technology Holdings Co., Ltd. will review commercialization of:

▲hearing technology-based healthcare services 

▲bio-ink and 3D printing-based biosmart factories 

▲intelligent hospitals using AI and VR
