Thank you to all of the students and professors that took part in the Hallym January, 2021 Online Korean Studies Taster Program (KSTP).

The KSTP was held from Tuesday 26th-Thursday 28th of January. There was also an informal 'meet and greet' session on Monday where students were able to get to know each other.

(Some of the KSTP students during the optional Monday'meet and greet' session)

The KSTP was split into Korean morning and afternoon sessions, allowing over 60 students from 18+ countries and 5 continents to take part making the KSTP a truly global program!

The program was split into three, 90 minute introductory sessions on:

□ The Influence of Neo-Confucianism on Modern Korean Society

□ Current Issues in Modern Korean Society

□ Fundamental Issues for International Business in Korea

Each class involved live lectures from the professors in which they used a variety of teaching methods. There was also live'break out room' discussion between the students', with each break out room returning to the class as a whole for further discussion and feedback from the professors.

The break out groups were modified each day, allowing students to work with a diverse network of nationalities.

Below you can see some of the feedback given about the KSTP by the students.
