□ Hallym University President Kim Choongsoo signed a “Legoland Korea Resort Personnel Training and Recruitment Agreement” with Gangwon-do, Chuncheon-si, Legoland Korea Resort (LLKR), and Kangwon National University on the 26th February, 2021.

□ Legoland Korea Resort (280,790㎡) is due to be completed at the end of June of this year with a current completion rate of 78% (excluding hotels), and is being promoted to open in the first half of 2022 after safety checks.

As the current organization is expanding, demand for personnel is expected to occur in various fields such as finance, food and beverage, hotel, and amusement facilities operation.

 □ Legoland Korea Resort employs about 100 people this year in various fields such as finance, food and beverage, hotel management, restaurant management, and amusement facilities management, and will employ 1,200 to 1,600 people in 2022 when it is opened.

 □ We plan to actively cooperate so that university students and Chuncheon citizens in the province can be hired first when hiring human resources, and in accordance with the conclusion of a business agreement, the details of the program operation between participating organizations will be decided.

 □ Through this agreement, Gangwon-do and Chuncheon-si provide administrative and financial support for college students (prospective graduates), residents, and Chuncheon citizens at Legoland Korea Resort.

 □ Hallym University plans to operate its education system by providing non-face-to-face and face-to-face education for the required personnel at the Legoland Korea Resort in response to COVID-19.

 □ Legoland Korea Resort is planning to hire people who have completed the education program through a self-selection process.

 □ President Kim Choongsoo said, “Securing excellent human resources is the most important aspect for the success of the Legoland Korea Resort in Gangwon Province.”
