□ Hallym University celebrated Arbor Week on Friday 8th April with members including Hallym President Yanghee Choi, student representatives, and staff representatives planting sansuyu trees at Ilsong Creative Vision Hall and throughout the campus.

□ The event was held by Hallym University as an institution leading ESG management to establish and put into practice a landscape master plan for creating an eco-friendly campus.

□ Hallym University signed an agreement with Chuncheon City and Chuncheon Sacred Heart Hospital on March 4th to voluntarily limit the use of non-disposable products and is actively practicing ESG management, such as refraining from using disposable cups within departments.

□ President Yanghee Choi said, “Today's event is a part of 'creating an attractive campus', one of the VISION 2030+ policies, and we will put more effort into the campus master plan for 'The NEW HALLYM'.”

□ Meanwhile, Ilsong Academy, a school corporation, recently established the 'Hallym ESG Committee' under the corporation to strengthen ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) Management.

The ESG Committee will especially focus on:

▲ Environmental protection volunteer activities

▲ Materials and energy reduction plans

▲ Children's eco-environment experience programs

▲ Solar powered electricity generation for building facilities and water conservation.
