Hallym University held the ‘한마음 등반대회’ (Hanmaeum Climbing Contest) on Tuesday 27th September to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the opening of Hallym University.
 
The event was attended by more than 200 students, professors, and staff, as well as alumni, parents, local residents and the business community. The event saw participants hike Geumbyeongsan just outside of Chuncheon. 

The climbing event was prepared to create a vibrant and attractive campus life by providing a place for Hallym members to meet and exercise during Hallym Daedong Festival, which concludes on Thursday 29th September.

The event continues to build on Hallym Vision 2030+ goals, one of which is that Hallym continues to evolve into an “Open University” and a community-friendly university leading to further regional growth and development for Gangwon-do and its citizens.
