Thursday 23rd February saw Hallym welcome its first cohort of spring 2023 exchange students onto campus. The spring semester will see students from 17 countries studying at Hallym.

On Friday students gathered for a ‘meet and greet’ session where they were given information about adapting to their new environment along with key dates and procedures. 

Later, students took part in ‘speed dating’ where they were placed into small groups and given ice-breaker questions to discuss. Students periodically rotated groups allowing them to meet a wide variety of international students and Hallym University Korean Buddies. 

After the 'meet and greet' students were given an optional campus tour where key facilities were highlighted. 

Students gathered again on Monday 27th February for a final briefing session before being given instructions on how to visit  Pungmul Market. Classes begin on Thursday 2nd March after the March 1st Independence Movement Day National Holiday.
